Affiliate Program Terms

Last updated 8 November 2026. These terms apply between you (the "affiliate") and DiscountLane (the "store", discountlane.ae). By joining the programme you accept them.

1. Joining

  • You must be 18 or older. Sign-up is free and your account is active immediately.
  • One affiliate account per person. Details you give must be true; we may ask you to confirm them before we pay you.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms (see section 8).

2. Commission

  • You earn a flat AED 21 for each qualifying order: one commission per order, whatever the number of items.
  • An order qualifies when its value is AED 600 or more. The value counts the products including VAT, and does not count shipping, fees, gift cards, or any part paid with store credit, wallet balance or points.
  • We may set a different amount for some product categories; the amount shown in your dashboard for an order is the one that applies.
  • No commission is paid on: your own orders or orders from your household, address, phone, email, device or IP address; orders below AED 600; gift-card-only orders; orders where a coupon other than your personal code was used; test or imported orders; orders that are cancelled, not delivered, refunded or returned.
  • Each order earns one reward only. If the customer clicked a friend's DiscountLane Refer & earn link more recently than your affiliate link, the Refer & earn reward applies and no affiliate commission is paid (and the other way round).

3. Tracking and attribution

  • When someone clicks your link (your referral link, your short link /go/CODE, or any discountlane.ae link with ?ref=YOURCODE) we store a first-party cookie for 30 days. An order placed on that device within 30 days is credited to you.
  • Last click wins: if the customer later clicks another affiliate's link, the order goes to that affiliate.
  • An order placed with your personal code (applied by our team, for example on a phone or WhatsApp order) is credited to you.
  • If cookies are blocked or cleared, or the customer uses another device, we cannot credit the order. Our tracking records are final.

4. When commission becomes available

  • A commission is pending from the order until it is delivered (marked Completed). It becomes available 11 days after delivery — after our return window.
  • If the order is cancelled, refunded or returned before then, the commission is cancelled.
  • If an order is refunded after the commission became available, we take it back from your available balance. Your balance never goes below zero; any amount that was already paid out is deducted from your next commissions.

5. Payouts

  • There is no minimum: you can request any amount that is available.
  • Choose PayPal (your PayPal email) or bank transfer (account holder, bank name, IBAN, SWIFT for banks outside the UAE). Payout details are stored encrypted and only our accounts team can see them.
  • Every payout is checked and sent by our team by hand, normally within 3 working days of your request. One open request at a time.
  • Payouts are made in AED. Fees charged by PayPal or your bank, and any currency conversion, are yours. You are responsible for declaring your earnings and for any tax that applies to you.
  • We may hold a payout while we check orders for fraud or for a breach of these terms.

6. How you may promote us

  • Honest, accurate content only. Use the prices, warranty and delivery information shown on our site; do not invent discounts, stock levels or claims.
  • Clearly disclose that you earn a commission (for example "affiliate link" or "#ad"), and hold any licence or permit required for paid promotion where you publish (in the UAE, the UAE Media Council rules for advertising content).
  • You may use the banners and logo in your dashboard as they are. Do not change our logo or create pages, apps or social accounts that look like DiscountLane.

7. Prohibited methods

  • Brand bidding: no paid-search ads (Google, Bing, Apple Search Ads or others) on "DiscountLane", "Discount Lane", discountlane.ae or misspellings, and no ads that show our domain as the display URL.
  • Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, hidden frames, pop-ups/pop-unders, browser extensions or anything that sets our cookie without a real click.
  • Paid or incentivised clicks (click farms, traffic exchanges, "click to win" offers, cashback or reward sites) unless we agree in writing.
  • Spam: unsolicited email, SMS or WhatsApp messages, or posting links where they are not welcome.
  • Coupon or deal sites listing codes that are not yours, or false "discount" claims.
  • Ordering through your own link, or asking friends or family to do so only to earn the commission.

8. Suspension and termination

  • You can leave at any time by contacting us; available commission is paid out on request.
  • We may change, pause or end the programme, or close any account, with notice on this page or by email. Commission earned under the terms in force at the time of the order stays payable, unless it was earned in breach of these terms.
  • If you break these terms we may cancel pending and available commission linked to the breach and close your account.

9. Liability

  • We are not liable for lost commission caused by tracking failures, cookie blocking or site downtime. Our total liability to you is limited to the commission due on qualifying orders.
  • You are an independent promoter, not our employee, agent or partner, and may not make commitments in our name.

10. Privacy

  • Your dashboard shows order dates, value bands and status only — never customer names or contact details. We process your details under our privacy policy.

11. Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Sharjah, and the courts of Sharjah have jurisdiction.
