Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 13.5″ (Renewed) – Intel Core i5-1035G7, PixelSense Touchscreen

I have been using this Surface Laptop for about a month for remote work, and i want to be fair about both the good and the less good parts. The 13.5 inch PixelSense touchscreen is the main reason i bought it. It is bright, sharp, and responds quickly when i scroll through long documents or pinch to zoom in a spreadsheet. Video calls look good on it and the speakers are clear enough for a small meeting room without a headset.

The keyboard is comfy for long typing sessions and the trackpad is accurate. The i5-1035G7 handles browser tabs, Teams and Excel without fuss, although it gets warm when i export big reports. Opening the lid and signing in is quick. The renewed unit was cosmetically clean apart from a faint mark on the palm rest that i can barely see from a normal viewing angle.

My complaints are small. Delivery to Sharjah was a day later than the tracking said, and the box arrived slightly crushed on one corner which made me nervous at first. Battery is the weakest point: i get about seven hours of light work, which is fine for a renewed device but would not get me through a full day of travel. Overall its good value for work and i would recommend it to someone who needs a touchscreen laptop without paying for new.

i like the screen and it feels solid when i pick it up but the battery health on mine is clearly lower than i expected for a renewed device. Full charge gives me around 5 hours of light browsing, and video drains it faster than i’d like. The charger in the box is not the original Microsoft one, noticed it when it got warm on the desk. The listing said battery was above 80 percent so i want that written more clearly. Processor is fine for email, spreadsheets and video calls. Screen and keyboard are the real strengths, and i’d buy from the same store again if the battery was checked before it shipped.

Touchscreen is lovely!
