HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5 14″ Convertible Business Laptop — Intel Core i7-8th Gen, 16GB RAM, SSD, Windows 10 Pro (Renewed)

I have been using this EliteBook x360 1040 G5 for client presentations in Dubai for about six weeks, and it has become my main device for meetings. The flexible hinge means I can switch between laptop and tent mode without fuss, and the touch screen is responsive enough for annotating slides during a discussion. The build feels premium and the lid does not wobble when opened one-handed.

The unit arrived well packed in Sharjah with the pen and original box, and it looked close to the photos. There is a small scratch on the bottom of the frame that is not in the listing, which I am fine with, but it is worth knowing. The screen is bright enough for conference rooms, and the colours look good for presentation decks. Battery life is the weak point: I get a few hours of meeting time, so I am always looking for a plug. The charger in the box is a third party one and feels a bit loose.

I would still recommend the machine for anyone who presents a lot and wants a convertible laptop at a fair price. My request to the seller is a clearer battery note on the listing and a more reliable charger. Four stars for now. I will update this review when I have used it for a few more months.

Il touchscreen risponde bene, la cerniera è robusta e la modalità tenda funziona bene durante le riunioni. La confezione era ordinata e il dispositivo sembrava quasi nuovo. La batteria dura per una riunione, ma non per tutta la giornata di lavoro. Nel complesso è un buon portatile convertibile per chi lavora spesso fuori ufficio, e lo consiglio. Il venditore ha risposto in fretta alle mie domande e la spedizione è stata puntuale.

the charger was the first thing that annoyed me on this elitebook x360 1040 g5. the hinge is great and the screen rotates and folds well, but its a generic brand charger and it gets hot after twenty minutes of charging, which worried me. battery is ok for a meeting but not a full working day, so im always looking for a plug. delivery to riyadh took four days against two in the listing and i wasnt told about the delay until the tracking changed. touch is accurate and the build feels solid. i hope the next batch ships with a better charger.

El portátil llegó a Abu Dhabi en buen estado y bien empaquetado. La pantalla táctil es precisa y el teclado es agradable. Hay un pequeño rayón en la tapa que no se veía en las fotos.
