ok honestly delivery was slow, it said 2 days and took almost a week. the laptop is fine when it arrived, nothing broken but the box was taped weird. i use it for accounts and spreadsheets and it handles everything fine. the keyboard is comfy and screen is bright enough, the touchpad is a bit sensitive tho. battery doesnt last all day for me so i keep the charger in my bag, which is annoying. support were polite and gave me a discount code. not bad for the money but i expected faster delivery in dubai.

I bought the Latitude 5580 for our finance team in Dubai and wanted to share the full picture, because the first week was a mixed experience. The machine is quick enough for large Excel models, email, our accounting system and a dozen browser tabs. The keyboard is one of the better office keyboards I have used, and the 15.6 inch screen gives plenty of room for spreadsheets side by side. The fans stay quiet unless we run a heavy report, which is a relief in a shared office.
Delivery was the main frustration. The estimate was two working days, and the parcel took nearly a week to reach our office in Dubai Media City. The packaging was adequate but the box was crushed on one side, and the seller only sent a replacement sticker for the lid instead of a new one. The charger in the box is a third party brand and the connector feels loose, so we swapped it for a genuine unit. The battery gives a bit less than a full working day on heavy use, which I was expecting from a renewed model, but I would have liked the listing to say so more clearly.
