The Dell Precision 5550 is a 15.6-inch mobile workstation for demanding professional work such as engineering, 3D design and video editing. Its FHD+ non-touch display suits detailed work, and a UHD+ touch panel is available on selected units.
The 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10850H works with Quadro T1000 or T2000 graphics with 4 GB of GDDR6 memory. Memory is dual-channel DDR4 across two slots, with 8, 16 or 32 GB per slot, and storage is an M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD. Llevo unas semanas usando esta estación de trabajo para modelado 3D y simulaciones, y en general estoy contento con la compra. El rendimiento es muy bueno para proyectos grandes, el procesador responde rápido y el gráfico Quadro mueve bien las vistas de los modelos. La pantalla tiene buen brillo y los colores son fiables para revisar planos.
El ventilador se hace notar bastante cuando la máquina trabaja al máximo, así que la pongo sobre una base para que el calor salga bien. La batería no dura mucho bajo carga, de modo que siempre la dejo conectada cuando renderizo. La carcasa es sólida, el teclado es cómodo para sesiones largas y no noto flexión en la bisagra.
El envío a Madrid fue más lento de lo que prometía el vendedor, y la caja llegó algo golpeada en una esquina, aunque el equipo estaba perfecto. El adaptador era el original y la garantía estaba bien explicada. Para ingenieros o diseñadores que necesitan potencia sin pagar el precio de un equipo nuevo, es una buena opción. La recomendaría sin dudarlo, siempre que se tenga en cuenta el ruido y la autonomía.

Stacja robocza działa bardzo szybko przy projektach w CAD i przy większych modelach symulacyjnych. Ekran jest ostry i kolory są wierne, co przydaje się przy sprawdzaniu rysunków. Wentylatory hałasują pod obciążeniem, więc trzeba postawić laptopa na podstawce i wtedy jest w porządku. Bateria nie wytrzymuje długo przy pełnym obciążeniu, dlatego pracuję przy zasilaniu. Obudowa jest solidna, a klawiatura wygodna. Paczka dotarła w dobrym stanie, z oryginalnym zasilaczem. Sprzedawca odpowiedział na pytania o gwarancję bardzo szybko. Polecam osobom, które potrzebują mocnej maszyny w rozsądnej cenie.

bought the precision 5550 renewed for heavy rendering and some simulation work and it handles it well. the i7 is fast and the quadro keeps the viewport smooth in my cad software. screen is bright and colour is accurate for checking drawings. case is solid and the keyboard is comfy for long sessions. unit arrived in al ain clean and sealed, with its original adapter and a warranty card. battery is limited under load so i keep it plugged in while rendering. fans are noticeable but a stand helps a lot. seller shipped quickly and replied to all my questions. would buy again for field work
