I edit wedding videos on the side and needed a machine that wouldn’t choke on 4K timelines. This Precision arrived in great condition, sealed box, Windows 10 Pro already set up and activated. Timeline scrubbing is smooth for most of my projects and exports are quicker than my old laptop. Screen is 15.6 inches and looks good for colour work after I adjusted the settings. Downside is the weight, it’s heavy to carry to shoots and the fan spins up. Battery is basically a desk-only feature. Overall happy, great value for a workstation, I’d recommend to other freelancers.

Machine is solid but a bit big for my bag. The hard drive was fine. Battery only lasts a short time so you need the charger always.

Fast for editing 4K footage but the fan is loud under load.
