The Lenovo ThinkPad P50 is a 15.6-inch mobile workstation for CAD, rendering and other graphics-heavy work. It pairs a ThinkPad chassis and keyboard with NVIDIA Quadro graphics and weighs from 2.55 kg.
The 6th Gen Intel Core i7-6820HQ runs at 2.7 GHz base and up to 3.6 GHz turbo, with NVIDIA Quadro M2000M 4 GB graphics. Memory is DDR4-2133 in four SO-DIMM slots, up to 64 GB, and storage can be up to three drives including M.2 PCIe NVMe. Laptop is strong but HEAVY as a brick, I was not expecting that from the photos. Battery won’t do more than 3 hours so keep expectations low. Keyboard is fine for coding though.

Ich habe die ThinkPad P50 für meine Videobearbeitung gekauft und nach zwei Wochen bin ich wirklich happy. Das Gerät kam sauber verpackt aus Dubai, mit Netzteil und allem Zubehör, und die Tastatur ist top, gerade bei langen Schichten. Der Lüfter wird beim Rendern laut, das muss man wissen, aber die Kühlung hält die Temperaturen gut im Griff. Die Akkulaufzeit ist kurz, nur etwa zwei bis drei Stunden, daher bleibt es meistens am Netzteil. Das Display hat sehr gute Farben. Support per WhatsApp hat schnell geantwortet. Empfehlung für Profis, nicht für Unterwegs-Fans.

Got this for my CAD and rendering work and I’m pretty happy overall. It arrived quickly, sealed box, and the item matched the listing with no scratches on the lid. The Quadro graphics handle my models without stuttering as long as I don’t push too many layers. Screen was a bit dim out of the box but I found the brightness setting and it’s fine now. Keyboard is comfy for long sessions. Battery is a weak point, I get about two hours on a charge so I keep it plugged in. Weight is serious, it’s not a laptop you carry casually to meetings. Recommend if you need power for desk work.
